No Crew. No Budget. Just an iPhone.

One of the biggest challenges was how to film with a smartphone.

Over the years, I upgraded from the iPhone 13 to the iPhone 15 and eventually the iPhone 16. In the beginning, I worked with different cinematographers and camera operators, hoping to bring my vision to life through collaboration. However, things often didn't turn out the way I had imagined.

At some point, I had to make a choice.

I was already filming many scenes myself on my iPhone, but I never expected that I would eventually shoot entire short films on my own.

To improve my skills, I enrolled in a one-day workshop at Open Studio called Filming with Your iPhone. Little did I know that this would mark the beginning of a completely new chapter in my filmmaking journey.

I purchased a Shoulderpod rig and attached a microphone with a furry windscreen. Despite my efforts, I still struggled with background noise and imperfect sound quality.

But that didn't stop me. Do you want to know what happened next?
